The University of Sheffield has recently invested over £160 million in refurbishing its current facilities and creating two new conference and accommodation villages equipped with flexible meeting space, café, bar and dining facilities and over 4,000 en-suite bedrooms.
Meeting Rooms
With over 150 meeting rooms ranging from purpose built conference centres to tiered lecture theatres, conferencewithUS provides flexibility to host a range of events for up to 1,250 delegates.
Accommodation
During summer vacation, conferencewithUS offer a choice of accommodation to suit every budget, with up to 4,000 single en-suite and standard bedrooms. Located in a leafy, residential area of Sheffield, the Endcliffe village offers accommodation on a B&B or room only basis for individuals, groups and residential conferences.

NEAREST AIRPORT
Robin Hood Doncaster Sheffield airport is located 30 minutes from Sheffield, with Leeds/Bradford, East Midlands and Manchester all within an hour away.
NEAREST STATION
Sheffield Train Station is at the heart of the rail network. Regular services operate between Sheffield and London, Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester and Nottingham.

All University of Sheffield venues are well-served by a number of frequent bus services from Sheffield Interchange and the city centre

Parking spaces within the residences are available free of charge, subject to a conference parking permit. Parking can be limited on main campus, although we may reserve spaces for an additional charge.

Residences Facilities
The Endcliffe and Ranmoor Villages are located within easy access of main campus and the city centre. All venues here cater for a variety of conference, meeting and event requirements throughout the year.
The Edge - This purpose built venue, located in the Endcliffe Village, offers a modern setting with event space, café, dining room and bar. The multi-purpose event space can be tailored for between 10 and 320 guests.
Halifax Conference Centre - Our newly refurbished Victorian mansion combines distinctive 19th century elegance and contemporary style to offer a sophisticated setting with flexible spaces for 10-120 delegates.
The Ridge - Ranmoor Village's new conferencing centre, boasts three conference rooms with capacity for up to 170 delegates.
Main Campus Facilities
There are over 100 lecture theatres and seminar rooms within our venues at our central campus, offering a comprehensive choice of well-equipped meeting facilities. These are available during vacation periods and most weekends during term time.
